The Taste has worked closely in its partnership with Metro Parks Tacoma to ensure outstanding stewardship of one of the city's most prestigious parks as well as providing free, quality family entertainment to the Tacoma community. The Taste also provides revenue to Metro Parks Tacoma through restaurant and parking lot proceeds.

Need to wet your whistle? Enjoy a libation while helping others. A portion of beer garden and wine tasting proceeds benefit C.A.P.A. recipient, Bates Technical College. Funds provide scholarships to students in the schools Culinary Arts Program.

Culinary Arts at Bates Technical College offers a unique experience. A student's first year is focused on learning the basics of handling equipment and preparing food at the South Campus. The second year student moves to Downtown Campus where specialties & food preparation skills are advanced in preparation for entering a career as a chef. C.A.P.A. is proud to support this great program.
