GETTING THERE
Do it for just $3.50! Ride the Pierce Transit Taste Express round-trip from TCC Transit Center to Pt. Defiance Park
for $3.50 per person. This fare is valid on Taste Express services
only. Five for the price of ONE! The Taste Express makes it
possible. Up to four kids (13 and under) ride FREE with a
fare-paying passenger, you may use your current PugetPass or Summer
Youth Pass and ride for free. For senior and disabled riders, a
Regional Reduced Fare Permit must be shown with a $0.75

Parking is available at the Taste
in the Funland parking lot, across the street from Point Defiance Park.
The cost is $10 per car. Limited disabled parking is available after 11 a.m.
daily inside the Park.

Save your sore feet and catch a free ride from the Funland Parking Lot on the Taste Chuck Wagon! The Chuck Wagon will be making round trips from the parking lot to the entrance of the Taste all day long, courtesy of Penguin Windows. Look for the shuttle stop sign at the top of the lot- shuttles are first-come, first-serve.If you're coming from Vashon on the ferry, we recommend you walk on and ride the ferry across if you are able. If you choose to drive, please be advised that you'll have to follow the flow of traffic up Pearl Street, turn around, and then proceed back down Pearl Street to access the parking lot. If you choose to walk onto the ferry, there is a hill to climb to get to the park, which may pose some issue for those in wheelchairs or who have mobility issues.
Directions from I-5: Take the Gig Harbor/Hwy 16 exit. Pass Cheney
Stadium exit 6th Ave. Go left at light, take 1st right on Pearl St.
Follow Pearl St. to Point Defiance Park. You will
turn right on 54th St. (just past the Antique Sandwich Shop) to enter
parking lot. Look for signs - "Taste Parking."
