Required Documents

The following documents are required by all or some vendors. Your acceptance packet has more information on required materials. Additional details can also be found below.

Certificates of Insurance (COI)

Metro Parks Tacoma has mandated an increase to the policy limits for all food vendors or vendors touching guests (face paint, henna, etc.) effective immediately. Policies are now required to have a $2,000,000 PER OCCURRENCE limit. Previously a $1,000,000 per occurrence limit was acceptable. Please make sure to review the Sample COI (attached) to make sure that your policy is sufficient for this year. If you need assistance in obtaining insurance please contact our preferred agent NAME HERE at EMAIL HERE. COIs are due back to Festivals Inc no later than Friday, May 31st.


Health Department Permit (for food vendors or vendor sampling product)

Click HERE and apply online! To avoid a late fee, the completed application and payment are due no later than 14 days before the event.


Fire Department Permit (for vendors using open flame)

The Tacoma Fire Department Grants the Taste of Tacoma a blanket permit for the use of all open flame cooking. Please sign and return the attached Fire Department Form to Festivals Inc. no later than Friday, May 31st. You will also need to retain a copy and have available in your booth during the event.
