5 Great Tastes from 5 Local Restaurants Daily!

In support of the Emergency Food Network

ALL-NEW South Sound Bites is a local restaurant showcase featuring a unique five-course entree/plate meal for one low price! Plus, it's all in a cafe style setting. The new attraction was driven by community interest to try more top-notch restaurants in the Tacoma region at the festival!

LOCATION: The end of Restaurant Row at the Taste of Tacoma®
HOURS: Friday, June 23 through Sunday, June 25, 11am - 7pm (while supplies last).
ADMISSION: $16 a plate - includes 5 mini entree items (one from each Tacoma area restaurant)

IN SUPPORT: South Sound Bites will not only serve as a platform to promote some of the best local restaurants, but also help support the Emergency Food Network by collecting donations, both money or non-perishable food items, as well as volunteer outreach on site at the festival.

Emergency Food Network provides 16 million pounds of healthy, nutritious food annually to 70 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters for distribution to families and individuals in need. More than 1.4 million visits were made to food banks in Pierce County each year. Emergency Food Network aided these visits by distributing more than 16 million pounds of food to the programs it serves. Each time a community member walks into a food program with nothing, Emergency Food Network ensures they walk out with enough food for nine meals.

For every $1 donated to EFN, they provide $12 worth of nutritious food for our neighbors in need.
