10' x 10' General Vendors/ Non Handcrafted Items / Street Vendor Application



Processing Fee: There is a 3% credit card processing fee per transaction.

Description: Previously categorized as "Commercial Goods". Vendor that sells commercially imported goods, crafts and misc. merchandise NOT sold in retail chains, non-profits or groups, OR a vendor that provides entertainment or an act or service (i.e. Caricature artist, henna tattoos, clubs, non-profits). Vendors cannot sell anything that could be considered a weapon (i.e.  knives, swords, nun chucks).

Booth Location: New for 2018, Handcraft, Artisan and General vendors will have the option to request a booth location on the updated color coded map (See FAQ/Vendor Resources).  A request is not a guarantee of booth placement.  All applications and booth placement will be assessed and determined by the jury.

Note: Due to the Destination Point Defiance Construction Project this year we have had to re-evaluate all on-site parking for the festival.  We anticipate that  Metro Parks Tacoma will confirm areas accessible to the Taste of Tacoma® by early April when at which time we will inform and confirm the final plan to all participants.  Load and unload will NOT be affected and you can still drive to your booth however your vehicle may need to be moved off site for parking this year.  We appreciate your patience – the improvements being made to Point Defiance Park will bring thousands of new visitors in the coming years.

All additional needs or services above and beyond what is listed below are to be arranged and paid for by the participating company through the official show decorator, electrician or plumber. If accepted, additional information regarding the above will be provided.

Refunds: If you withdraw your application within 5 days after it is received your deposit will be refunded less a $200 cancellation fee. If you withdraw anytime after March 15, there is NO REFUND. If not accepted, booth fee/deposit (less processing fees) will be refunded the first week of April.

Booth Packages Include:

  • BOOTH SPACE: One 10' x 10' space. You must provide your own canopy and booth furnishings.
  • ADVERTISING: All participants will receive mention in the press kit and website inclusion (be sure to provide any links necessary).
  • ELECTRICAL: Power available for an additional fee.
